Even today, Michael Schumacher holds the record of winning the F1 championship. During his career, he won it 7 times defeating all other drivers. So, you may know that he is the best F1 driver of all times.
He started in karting as a kid
Some of you know that Michael Schumacher started karting as a kid. But, did you know that he won the first karting championship at age 6 with a kart made of scrap parts. His father made him that kart.
His mother and father supported him from the early age
In order to help him or better said to allow for him to race, his mother and father had to work in the race circuit where Michael had raced. His father was a mechanic for karts and his mother worked in the cafeteria.
His first kart license was obtained at Luxemburg
In order to race all across Europe, Michael Schumacher needed a license. At age 12, he was not allowed to have German’s license, so he obtained one from Luxemburg. Germany requested that all drivers are 14 years old.
He won 90 races in the career
During his career, Michael Schumacher won 90 races driving for different teams, including Ferrari. This was the main and the best team he ever drove for.
He was pointed as an advisor in Ferrari
After his retirement in 2006, he was chosen to work as an advisor for Ferrari. His sole role was to discover new drivers.
